Course Overview

The Fluke Networks DSX CableAnalyzer modules attach seamlessly to Versiv™ and Versiv 2 main and remote units, creating rugged, handheld testers designed for professionals to certify, troubleshoot, and document twisted-pair network cabling with unmatched speed and accuracy.

  • DSX-8000 modules certify twisted-pair cabling to Cat 8 / Class I & II limits (up to 2000 MHz) in approximately 16 seconds per full 2-way autotest – ideal for future-proofing high-speed deployments like 25G/40G Ethernet.

  • DSX-5000 modules certify twisted-pair cabling to Cat 6A / Class EA and Cat 7A / Class FA limits (up to 1000 MHz) in as little as 10 seconds (or under 16 seconds as per legacy specs) – delivering fast, reliable results for today's demanding installations.

How you will benefit?

The training will help you to:

  • Master High-Speed Certification – Gain in-depth knowledge to certify cabling up to Cat 8/Class I & II (DSX-8000) or Cat 6A/7A/Class EA/FA (DSX-5000) limits with speed and precision, ensuring compliance with TIA, ISO/IEC, and future-proofing for 25G/40G+ Ethernet deployments.

  • Boost Efficiency & Productivity – Learn to configure tests correctly, use ProjX™ project management, interpret results accurately, and leverage powerful diagnostics—reducing setup errors, avoiding costly retesting, and completing jobs faster for higher profitability.

  • Hands-On Expertise – Benefit from practical labs covering setup, standards, adapter use, troubleshooting (including Alien Crosstalk and shield integrity), and full workflows with LinkWare™ software—building real-world confidence and minimizing field issues.

  • Career Advancement & Recognition – Earn industry-recognized certification (aligned with Fluke's CCTT program principles), qualify for jobs requiring certified technicians, enhance your resume, and stand out to employers and clients—potentially increasing earning potential significantly.

  • Risk Reduction & Quality Assurance – Provide verifiable proof of installation quality, protect against disputes or warranty claims, improve team performance, and deliver professional reports that manufacturers and customers accept without question.

  • Stay Competitive in Evolving Tech – Stay ahead of structured cabling trends, apply skills across shielded/unshielded copper installations, and integrate seamlessly with Versiv's modular ecosystem for copper, fiber, and beyond.
