A Fiber Optics Installer is skilled in installing, splicing, testing, and evaluating optical fiber systems. They understand industry standards like TIA/EIA-568B, ITU-T G.652, and Telcordia GR-326, and are proficient in connector endface evaluation (TIA/EIA-455-57B), loss testing (TIA/EIA-526-14A), and NEC codes 770 and 250. They can install connectors using various epoxies and perform both mechanical and fusion splicing.
